One month since the Rayner Foundation Dinner in Leeds..
More than 300 guests attended the Dinner in the company of such luminaries as recently returned to Yorkshire Lizzie Deignan and husband Phil.
We were also very happy to see Lewis Askey, Sean Flynn and Harrison Wood, all of whom graduated last year to World Tour Teams. Millie Couzens is another rider who graduated last year and has never been to the Dinner before due to CX committments.
With Hannah Walker as MC, David Standard on stage as Auctioneer and Calvert Churchill drumming up business from the floor everything moved along very quickly.
Jerseys from Fred Wright and Tom Pidcock plus a retro yellow jersey donated by Brian Robinson himself were the star turns.
The class of 2023 came to the stage and Rider of the Year was announced as Oliver Knight who joins Team Cofidis next year. Honourable mentions to Tom Portsmouth and Charlie Paige who also graduated into the pro ranks.
