You are going to LOVE Cafe Belge !
Paul Watson, legendary British Professional Cyclist from the 1980’s and World Champion age group in 2016, embarked on a new venture a couple of years ago. Christened Café Belge the establishment has all the ingredients that we cyclists need en route.. A love for cycling and appreciation for fine coffee, creates a unique gathering spot for fellow enthusiasts and the local community. Situated in the countryside near Milton Keynes, Café Belge offers an inviting atmosphere, where guests can enjoy meticulously brewed coffee while reminiscing about the golden days of cycling and sharing stories of their own adventures on two wheels.
Cycling themed events are becoming the hot ticket at Café Belge. In December Sean Yates visited for a Q & A session and a ride out the following day. Donations were accepted in aid of the Rayner Foundation.

In November Author and journalist Will Fotheringham was in attendance as the classic film A Sunday in Hell was screened. Will of course has written THE book of the same name which chronicles the history of that great race Paris-Roubaix. Will is a supporter of the Rayner Foundation, his book The Greatest, the biography of Beryl Burton was sold with a % of profits being donated.

The latest event in the planning at Café Belge will be the PCA reunion in July. Already attracting plenty of big names from the era 1970’s, 1980’s and 1990’s, this promises to be a fabulous way to reconnect with old friends and rivals. Not just restricted to the professionals of the day, the event is open to everyone, but with spaces limited, pre-registration and ticket purchase is necessary.
This event will be a fundraiser for the Rayner Foundation, and we will be showing exclusive items for sale and for auction. There will be plenty of action throughout the two days. Barbeque and drinks, Tour de France screening, Retro Bike Show, Live music on Saturday evening and a ride out on Sunday.

Already confirmed guests such as Keith Lambert, Steve Sefton, Malcolm Elliot. More names to be announced soon. Camping available on site.
